Young soccer star plays in San Juan Capistrano tournament, stars in Infiniti of Mission Viejo ad
When Infiniti of Mission Viejo decided to put an ad in the 2012 Blues Cup soccer program, it was obvious that the best way to portray the brand and its flagship SUV, the Infiniti QX, was to show it in action. Enter Megan “Scooter” Hussey, a 13 year old future soccer star who plays for the Blues U14 team.
Megan started her soccer career in the AYSO system in Rancho Santa Margarita (Region 630) in the Girls U9 division. There happened to be two Megans on her first team and the coach asked her if she had a nickname. Scooter was her family pet name so it became her soccer nom de guerre. Any time her parents hear someone call out “Scooter” they know it’s soccer related. Scooter was recruited to the SC Blues, based in San Juan Capistrano, in April 2012 by Ali Malaekah; the coach of the U14 team. Currently she is playing left forward and has score two goals already this season (two friendlies and on tournament).
The Blues Cup will take place in September 1 – 3 in San Juan Capistrano.
